Intro Visual Part 1: Reflection

In the section “How to be a Better photographer” I learned many different things. To start off some of the more important information I learned was to be pickier and to pay attention to the moment. I’ve never been a photographer at all. I don’t take pictures. So all of this advice in this section is important to me. I feel like learning the timing and being picky can help a lot. Especially if you are choosing between many photos. You want the best ones to be noticed. As well as having better contrast. Having brighter colors can make it look more appealing, depending on the reason for the picture.

I feel that when there is a collage of images, or just many images taken in a row, those images can tell a story. This is important and I have never really thought that. But it is important to have each image reflect off each other to continue the story. If I do take a picture of something I always have the problem with it being to dark or too bright and can never get the picture right. Another thing I learned is to take a picture when the moment is at its apex. It makes it look more real instead of someone having a fake smile.

I feel that an obvious statement in this was to use better lenses. I don’t take professional pictures or anything of that nature. I just use my phone. So it is kind if hard to have a better picture with a phone. Having a good background can really bring out the image or the main part of the picture. I feel like that is also one of the more important aspects.
